This Jura Giga 6 review begins with two health and safety warnings. A Jura GIGA 6 should never be purchased without discussing it with your partner first (I made this mistake and it didn’t end well). Ever. First of all, sit down before reading the following line; I won’t be liable for anxiety attacks.
This is the most high-end super-automatic espresso machine I’ve ever examined, coming in at just under $5,949.00. As a result, it’s as opulent as a yacht with a helipad in terms of size and weight.
Jura coffee machines, on the other hand, aren’t exactly known for their subtlety. If you’re thinking there isn’t any reason to purchase this device if you are only going to make a regular cup of coffee. You’re right, but if you’re in the market for a super-automatic espresso machine that has all the bells and whistles this may be the best espresso machine on the market today?
Yes, in certain respects. However, a more pertinent concern is whether or not $5,949.00 is an exorbitant price for a machine that merely brews coffee drinks with or without milk.
The answer is yes, but if you have the budget and are a coffee lover or connoisseur then you will end up loving it almost as much as I love mine. Oh and my wife has finally admitted that she couldn’t see starting her day without it, even though she almost killed me for buying it.
Jura Specific Key Features
Jura is one of the most well-known coffee machine brands, and it is known for its precision and perfection. In addition, it has pioneered several new technologies and dimensions that have become industry benchmarks for other brands.
Here are some of the most common features found in Jura coffee machines.
Aroma G Conical Burr Grinder
Your cup of coffee will be full of aroma and flavor thanks to Aroma G Series grinders. The angled blades of the burr grinders installed in Jura’s coffee machines are specially made to grind your beans while preserving the oils and fats inside to keep their flavor..
Pulse Extraction Process
The PEP, also known as the Pulse Extraction Process, is a method of extracting coffee that produces an evenly saturated cup. As a result, the excellent flavor you will experience will be consistent throughout.
You will never have to worry about over or under extraction.
Energy Saving
ESM, which stands for Energy Saving Mode, is another feature of Jura machines. So not only will you save money on your utility bills, but you will also save time, which is extremely valuable.
Clearyl Smart Filters
It cleans the water and ensures that it is of high quality so that you can make the perfect coffee drink. In addition, if you keep track of the filter, you won’t have to descale the machine as frequently.
Intelligent Water System
The Intelligent Water System ensures that each cup receives the same amount of water content into the shots as the previous one for better-tasting coffee.
Jura Giga 6 Review
I hear all the time from my relatives about how difficult it was for them to find or make a good cup of coffee.
I believe we take for granted having a machine that gives us as many options to be able to brew your individual coffee preferences and coffee recipes.
The Jura Giga 6 was designed to improve the technique involved to make extraordinary espresso and push it even further. To do so, the machine was designed with several unique features not found on other espresso machines.
This Jura machine’s artificial intelligence learns your preferences and displays them using a self-learning algorithm, just like your favorite barista knows what you want as soon as you walk through the door.
You have complete control over how finely you want your coffee by adjusting the settings on this Jura machine. Thanks to two ceramic disk grinders with electronic adjustment, your coffee is ground to the perfect fineness.
Using two self-adjusting grinders, you can mix and match different types of coffee. As a result, it’s never been easier to find the perfect flavor combination for you.
Are you in a hurry to leave the house? Then, get going with your travel mug! Because of the Jura Giga 6’s dual-thermoblock and dual-pump setup, milk and espresso can be prepared simultaneously.
If you’re a coffee aficionado, this will allow you to try a broader range of beans. In addition, this machine can make flat white cafe lattes and cortados in a matter of minutes.
It’s also worth noting that this machine is compatible with the Jura J.O.E. (Jura Operating Experience) app, which lets you use artificial intelligence to make coffee from your smartphone.
When it comes down to it, the most critical question is, “does it make a good cup of coffee?” Learn more about this machine to see if it’s a good fit for you.
If you feel like the Giga 6 is more than you need you can read our review on the Jura E8, which has many features but isn’t nearly as expensive.

How Good Is The Coffee/ Seriously-Is It $6,000 Good
Once you’ve had a cup of Jura GIGA 6 coffee, the price suddenly appears more reasonable. However, when it comes to its attention to detail, the Jura coffee maker comes close to being picky.
My first experiment with the machine was to make a cup of espresso using the same beans, both finely and coarsely ground.
The Coffee Semantics team favored the finer grind with its intensely chocolatey undertones despite the slight difference in the two cups’ flavor characteristics.
On the other hand, the coarser espresso, which had a more apparent brightness or acidity, was also extremely drinking.
I’d happily slurp down a Lungo or a cup of coffee from the Jura espresso machine as an endorsement. I can honestly say that I have no gripes.
The warmth, body, and intensity of the coffee are all spot-on. So, is the GIGA’s coffee superior to the equally excellent Jura Z6? I don’t know for sure but I would have to give the edge to the Giga 6.
For me, Jura is the current unchallenged champion of super-automatic espresso and coffee machines. But, of course, all of that mouthwatering flavor does not come cheaply.

Do You Need A Engineering Degree To Use The Giga 6
No, but you will need to read the manual once or twice. Most of your attention will be focused on the blue crystal rotary dial for controlling the 4.3″ LED touch screen on the machine.
The basic operation is pretty easy to use. Close the aroma preservation lid and place your coffee beans into one of the two ceramic grinders. The machine’s temperature is automatically controlled via chrome vents on the machine’s top.
Coffee and milk are poured through two spouts in the front and two in the back. Depending on the type of cup you like to use, these can be modified in height and width. Use them to prepare two coffees at once. A cup of tea can be yours if you so choose by getting hot water from the dispenser.
The machine grinds and makes your coffee while remaining silent using its touchscreen menu. Place your mug or espresso cup on the drip tray, select your beverage, and the Giga 6 will take it from there.
It is that simple. The espresso and milk are then poured simultaneously, you may still make changes to the settings to get your preferences dialed in but it doesn’t take long to master.
Jura engineers redesigned the Giga 6’s drip tray since they can be a pain if you drink a lot of coffee. The tray may be removed, cleaned, and reinserted with one hand because it is dishwasher safe. The spent coffee pucks are placed in the drip tray to avoid spills.
Brewing capacity
If you have a lot of coffee drinkers in your house, the Jura Giga 6 is a good choice.
As far as water reservoir capacity goes, this machine has an enormous 35.3-oz capacity and 169-oz total bean hopper capacity. As a result, more than 21 cups are possible before you have to reload the device. In addition, with a capacity of 17.7 oz, the WE8 can brew more than 12 and a half cups of coffee before needing to be refilled with water.
Giga 6’s brewing capacity is enough. This machine is excellent for a small-scale business or office applications.
Aroma Conical Burr Grinder
Giga 6 has a 10 oz capacity and two bean hoppers. In addition, a burr grinder with angled blades is included with Giga 6. These blades ensure that the aroma and quality of the coffee grounds generated are well-preserved.
As a result, your brews will have a delicate flavor. In addition, the burr grinder of this machine can produce coarse grounds; thus, extraction and saturation will be extremely constant.
What Materials Did They Use In The Design
This coffee maker was built by Jura using high-quality aluminum, steel, chrome, resin and the boilers are made of bronze. It is built to withstand the test of time. In addition, it’ll function well in a commercial set up or even in your office.
Does It froth Silky Textured Milk As Light As The Clouds
There is no doubt that the froth it creates for Lattes, cappuccinos and other frothy treats are sensational with this device.
Who would’ve imagined a cappuccino machine would be capable of producing such impressive results? As you’d expect from Jura, this is just the beginning. You have complete control over everything from the temperature to the volume ratio.
With the Jura automatic coffee machine, there’s nothing to stop you from pursuing your dream of a perfect coffee specialty.
Flat whites are the most challenging drink for an automatic espresso machine to get right, yet the Jura coffee machine can compete with any corner cafe
Milk weighs roughly 1.1 ounces per fluid ounce and has a density of 0.6 ounces per cubic inch. As a result, the machine can produce 0.2 fluid ounces of milk in a single second. The device should run for around 35 seconds with slightly over seven fluid ounces.
Additional Features
We want to take this opportunity to highlight a few additional benefits of the Giga 6 espresso machine. First, to keep utility bills down, it has an energy-saving mode.
Additionally, this gadget has smart connections and artificial intelligence capabilities. You can, of course, modify the grinder to meet your own needs. Special water hardness filters are included with the unit.
Every piece of equipment, including the water tanks, bean hoppers, and grinding systems, is included in the GigaX7. Also included is an intelligent heating system filter that measures water hardness.
Water hardness may be checked using the WE8’s built-in smart technology and filters. Water reservoir capacity and an adjustable water spout make it ideal for a wide range of uses. This machine has a one-touch brewing method with pulse extraction for consistent saturation of the coffee grounds.
Does It Require Constant Cleaning And Maintenance
The Jura coffee machines are also easy to clean and maintain, another perk of this equipment. To keep them in good shape, you don’t have to go to a lot of trouble. The Giga 6 automatic machine has automated cleaning options, and all you have to do is push a button and toss in some descaling tablets to get started.
Upkeep and cleaning are also a breeze because of the system’s automatic nature. We suggest reading the owner’s manual’s cleaning instructions to refresh your memory.
Using Jura’s milk system cleaning solution; will allow the fine foam technology to make consistent milk foam and steamed milk for milk-based drinks.
Who Is The Giga 6 Made For
The Jura Giga 6 automatic coffee machine has a brewing capacity of 11 cups and a variety of coffee specialty totaling 28. As a result, it’s a viable solution for office settings or even small businesses.
If you’re in search of a coffee maker that tells you when it’ll need to be cleaned or descaled, this is the one for you; it has electronically adjustable cleaning cycles and is fully automated.
It’s easy to fine-tune the grinder on this machine, too, so you can get the perfect grind every time.
Giga 6 is the ideal marriage of cutting-edge design and high-end functionality. In this way, you can have the perfect cup of coffee with just one press of the pot.
Who Is The Giga 6 Not A Good Choice For
The cost of this coffee maker is prohibitive. This is a waste of money if you want a basic coffee maker.
Let’s be honest if you’re looking for a shot of espresso or a normal cup of coffee this machine is not what you are looking for.
If this sounds like you read our review of the Jura A1. It is made for people who only want the basics.
Jura Giga 6 VS. Jura Giga 5
Compared to the Jura Giga 6, the Giga 5 coffee machine has a lot of the same features as the Giga 6.
The Giga 5 is one of the most expensive machines in its class, it can make 29 different types of coffee using its two bean hoppers, two boilers with two separate grinders, and a price tag of almost $7,000.
Is there a significant distinction between the two?
The Giga 6 is equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence that learns from its users’ preferences and adjusts the menu settings accordingly. As a result, the learning curve is less steep, and the user experience is more dynamic.
Because of this convenience, we recommend Jura Giga 6 above the Jura Giga 5 because the price difference between the two is so little.
Conclusion
The Jura Giga 6 is, at its core, a stunning demonstration of modern technology and the limits of engineering. The coffee drinker’s experience is enhanced by this coffee machine’s seamless integration of coffee drinks and technology.
This combination eliminates all of the guesswork involved in brewing a delicious cup of coffee. It’s impossible to get a better cup of coffee by pressing a button.
Because of this machine’s extensive feature set, it provides an excellent beverage for the spoiled coffee drinker every time.
