The Origin Of Purity Coffee
Andrew Salisbury founded purity Coffee to learn more about the benefits and drawbacks of coffee consumption as his wife Amber’s health deteriorated.
Amber was suffering from severe, incapacitating exhaustion, and to re-energize herself, she started drinking up to six cups of coffee every day!
Andrew set out to learn more about the potential harm and advantages of coffee use after becoming concerned about how her coffee addiction was affecting her health. But, unfortunately, he was about to make a shocking discovery.
Andrew and Amber started corresponding with coffee experts at Vanderbilt University’s Institute of Coffee Studies. The couple rapidly realized that coffee, in fact, had a plethora of health benefits.
This business is passionate about coffee, but especially about the health benefits, it provides. Its major purpose is to educate consumers about the health advantages of coffee.
The organization uses the best practices to ensure that your coffee is as nutritional as possible, from growing methods to roasting processes and more.
Their Different Roasts
Their roasts and distinctive mixes are made from sustainable sources from freshly roasted, specialty-grade organic coffee.
Purity’s mission is to cultivate the highest-quality coffee possible, and all of the roasts are rich in nutrients and antioxidants to support this goal. They also have bags of whole bean coffee in various sizes, including 12oz bags and 5lb bags, depending on how much coffee you drink.
They have a variety of roasts to choose from, including medium, dark, decaf, and a special blend called the Founders’ Blend.
What Products Do They Offer
They are constantly looking for new opportunities to experiment with the most up-to-date procedures and methods available.
Their primary purpose is to improve consumers’ lives of all ages and health levels, and they are constantly looking for new methods to improve their products.
The Medium Roast
The flavor and acidity of the medium roast are beautifully matched. It has a hint of citrus with a few notes of sweeter, smokier chocolate.
The coffee has a silky texture and a full-bodied flavor. It’s wonderful on its own as a black coffee, but it’s also good with a splash of milk or creamer.
The Dark Roast
The layer of oil on the dark roast beans was the first thing we noticed when we opened the bag. The coffee has a strong nuttiness, sweet chocolate flavor, and earthy undertones.
The dark roast is smooth, strong, and will undoubtedly help you wake up in the morning despite its low caffeine concentration.
Special Blend/Founder’s Blend
This is a limited-edition unique blend that focuses more on undertones to give it a delicious mouthfeel. It meets the same high standards for antioxidants and purity as before, focusing on the blend and roasting curve.
Coffee Sachets
These function similarly to teabags: you place them in a mug and fill it with hot water; the coffee that had been steeped had an incredible flavor and scent!
One of the first things you’ll notice as the tea steeps is the smokey, earthy aroma it creates.
A nutty, earthy flavor permeates the palate, and the flavor is full-bodied with a low level of acidity. It goes down gently with each sip, making it ideal for those with sensitive stomachs.
We liked the sachets because they are little and convenient, but they are also jam-packed with caffeine.
Therefore, these are ideal for taking along on a road trip or your next camping excursion. Additionally, Purity Coffee gives you short instructions on how to prepare the sachets.
Coffee Pods
They offer coffee in pod form to provide a more efficient manner of preparing coffee. They are compatible with Keurig, Mr. Coffee, and Hamilton Beach pod machines, among other brands.
Moreover, all of the pods are organic, gluten, dairy, and soy-free and free of pesticides, mycotoxin, and mold contamination.
Aside from that, all of Purity Coffee’s pods are packaged in environmentally friendly, BPA-free recyclable materials. They also provide decaf coffee pods, which provide an efficient means of brewing and a caffeine-free alternative for those who prefer not to consume caffeine.
Decaf
Do you need to unwind a little? You may enjoy a tasty cup of coffee while reaping all of the health benefits without experiencing a caffeine rush in the process.
Decaf is 99.9 percent caffeine-free, yet it has the same great taste and all of the health advantages of regular coffee; they also employ the Swiss Water technique to prepare their coffee, especially since it helps to ensure the overall quality of the coffee bean itself.
Coffee Subscription Service
Alternatively, you can subscribe to a prepaid coffee subscription service, which can give you 6 to 12 months of coffee.
One free additional shipment is available when you sign up for a 6-month subscription, and two free additional shipments are available when you prepay for a 12-month membership!
Each subscription includes a 12oz bag of coffee in your preferred roast. Approximately 25-30 8-ounce cups of coffee can be made from each bag.
You have the option of receiving one to four 12 ounce bags per month or a 5-pound bag once a month. Coffee pods are also available through the subscription.
What Products We Used For Our Review
A starter pack from Purity Coffee was provided to us for testing; it turns out this is one of the most popular goods they sell. As a result, we received the following items in our beginning kit:
- Bag of medium roast coffee, 12 oz.
- Bag of dark roast coffee, 12 oz.
- A coffee grinder that is operated by hand (manual)
- Two sachet Packs.
If you’re interested in giving them a try but would also like to have a sufficient supply of coffee, the starter Pack may be precisely what you’re searching for.
Whole Bean Coffee Review
We utilized a Smeg drip Coffee Maker to test the medium, dark roast, and decaf whole beans, and we ground our coffee beans right before brewing them to ensure a consistent flavor.
There is a manual burr grinder included in the starter set, which is similar to the Timemore C2 grinder that we’ve tested and found to be simple to use and clean. If you like the smell of coffee beans (and who doesn’t? ), we guarantee that you’ll be thrilled with this product as well.
In the end, what happened was this: There was a distinct difference between the three variants in terms of the cup’s smoothness and drinkability.
The dark roast stood out with no bitterness and a rich flavor, but the medium roast had only a slight touch of that unique green flavor, along with undertones of cocoa and hazelnuts. The decaf, on the other hand, shocked us with its rich, complex flavor.
Update: I noted above that the starter pack came with a manual grinder; it no longer does, so if you need a grinder, the Timemore C2 is a great manual grinder.
If you’re looking for an electric model, read our Smeg coffee grinder review.
How Did The Packaging Hold Up
Purity Coffee’s packaging is simple, appealing, and informative. The starter kit comes wrapped in bright green tissue paper, making it a great gift for someone.
The single-serve sachets come individually packaged inside a box, and the coffee bags feature one-way valves and can be resealed.
We enjoy how detailed “The Purity Process” is on the back of the coffee bags, which involves nitrogen cleansing the bags after they’ve been sealed.
Where To Buy
It offers a straightforward website from which you may order a range of coffees. Choose whole beans, single-serve coffee sachets, coffee pods, or go for a larger 5-pound bag if you drink a lot of coffee.
What We Liked
For a variety of reasons, Purity Coffee is among the best on the market. We like it because they go above and beyond to ensure that their product is high quality and that their consumers are satisfied.
It Truly Is healthier Than Other Coffee Brands
There’s no denying that Purity Coffee is committed to providing its customers with some of the highest-quality coffee money can buy when it comes to health and nutritional benefits.
There are numerous antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients in it, which help to improve the consumer’s general health. In addition, the coffee is certified organic specialty grade coffee, which is a significant feature in and of itself.
Considering that less than one percent of all coffee produced worldwide meets this level, it is outstanding.
To ensure the health of their coffee, they test each batch before delivering it to clients. This is in contrast to other coffee companies that merely guess when it comes to the quality of their coffee.
Mold, mycotoxins, and bean flaws are all tested for, and each batch is checked for a high level of antioxidants.
They also check for defects in the beans themes. For example, purity Coffee has determined that its coffee has an average antioxidant content of 65 percent more than that of other major leading coffee brands due to their constant testing.
It Is Sustainable
Purity goes above and beyond to protect the environment and farms where the coffee beans are grown, and they are recognized for their efforts.
As a result, they are careful not to overbuy their coffee, which will prevent unused beans from becoming stale and going to waste.
In addition to this, they employ forestry methods that help maintain the soil’s quality and ensure that the environment remains healthy.
The bags that the coffee is packaged in are made from as much reused and environmentally friendly material as feasible.
It Practices Fair Trade To Help The Farmers
All of the coffee that you drink is under either fair trade or direct trade contracts. This is up to the farmer and what they prefer.
The great relationships that have evolved between the farmers and Purity Coffee allow you to be confident that your coffee beans will be carefully monitored and well cared for from the moment they are harvested until they reach your coffee cup.
You Don’t Have To Pay For Shipping
Receiving coffee through the mail may be a frustrating experience, especially when you are concerned about how it will affect the overall quality of your coffee.
On the other hand, it makes things easier by taking care of the unnecessary worry of shipping fees!
For customers in the United States, free delivery is available on all coffee orders, whether one-time purchases or small monthly subscriptions to its coffee service.
What We Didn’t Like
Unfortunately, not everything can be flawless. It’s a good thing, though, because there are always methods to improve a product and make it better.
The quantity of research and high-quality products that Purity Coffee brings to the table is fairly impressive, but there is always the opportunity for additional development in this area.
The Flavor Profile Isn’t Very Strong
Even though it provides numerous health benefits, is that it leaves little possibility to develop real, distinctive flavor profiles.
The company’s website provides a basic idea of the sort of roast the coffee is (medium, dark, decaffeinated, etc.) and does not describe the flavors present in the coffee itself.
As a result, no distinct description of the flavors distinguishes each roast from the others in the collection.
The majority of coffee is flavored with additives, and this is why some organic brands like purity coffee will taste bland.
Although we believe that the health advantages are real, we find it difficult to detect any vibrant or powerful flavors in the coffee. However, if your primary goal is to improve your general health, this shouldn’t be a deal-breaker for you in the long run.
They Don’t have Any Pre-Ground Options
When purchasing Purity Coffee, you will also need to purchase a grinder of some sort to brew your beans.
You should always use whole beans and grind them right before you brew.
This is the most effective approach to ensure that your coffee is as fresh as possible; however, it may be more challenging for people who do not have a grinder to do this task.
Is Purity Coffee Low Acid
Purity coffee doesn’t pay as much attention to acidity levels as Lifeboost. Instead, they are more concerned about the overall quality.
Everything is put through its paces to ensure that the beans collected are of the highest quality.
They evaluate the coffee to confirm that it complies with the SCAA Green Coffee Grading Standards, allowing it to be classified as “Specialty Grade.”
As a result, its beans are free of fungus and insect damage, as well as sour or withered beans and other defects, and they have a delicious flavor profile to match.
The minimum score allowed is 80, and the maximum ever reached is 90. Thus, they consistently earn between 85 and 89.75 points.
Is purity coffee mold-free
Compared to other organic brands, their whole bean coffee contains more antioxidants by more than 60%. It is also lab-tested to verify that it is free of mold and other impurities before shipping.
How much caffeine Is In Purity Coffee
Some people want very strong coffee, and Purity coffee isn’t a slouch in this department.

Purity Coffee Vs. LifeBoost Coffee
Purity and Lifeboost products start with organic specialty arabica beans that are responsibly cultivated, and each company assures that they are mold and mycotoxin-free through thorough testing.
All of this is nice and dandy, and it’s more than enough information to give Lifeboost and Purity Coffee drinkers peace of mind about the coffee they’re drinking.
Even though the items have a lot in common, we’d probably categorize our recommendations as follows:
Start with Lifeboost if you want a greater assortment of flavors and varieties. They have a variety of roasts to choose from and seasonal flavors to keep things interesting.
And their single-origin beans, which mature at high altitudes in the Nicaraguan highland rainforests, gaining depth of flavor and powerful nutrient content. This, paired with the mild acidity and overall mellow flavor, makes it an excellent place to start.
Purity Coffee, on the other hand, is known for providing better pricing for its organic coffee. You can also purchase a 5-pound bag if you like to buy in bulk and save a little money. If saving money is a priority, Purity may be a better option.
The Verdict/Is Purity Coffee The Best
So, what’s our suggestion?
We were drawn to this health-conscious coffee company because it provides high-quality organic beans and various products.
You may set up a subscription for future shipments, and the starter package is a wonderful deal. The coffee is smooth, rich, and the container ensures freshness and convenience.
If you prefer pre-ground or flavored beans, you may want to look elsewhere; even with a subscription, Purity may be out of your price range if these are your preferences.
Purity Coffee, on the other hand, is a must-try if you can afford it. The deliciousness of these beans is something we hope you will be pleasantly pleased by.
Purity Coffee is a terrific approach to boost overall health and wellness if you want to improve your overall health. In addition, you can be confident that your coffee is of high quality in freshness and flavor because of the amount of care in each batch.
